Nino R. Corbett

A Native Houstonian, Nino R. Corbett is the Founder and President of Compass Land Development. Nino has over 30 years of experience in the Texas real estate market. After graduating from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business in 1981, Nino practiced institutional finance on the Lending and Acquisitions team at Equitable Real Estate in Dallas. In 1992 Nino relocated to Houston as the President & CFO of Academy Development + Legend Homes. His knowledge of finance, market sensitivity, and deep Houston roots expanded his focus to single-family lot development and home building. During his 10 year tenure, Legend Homes became one of the leading land development and home builders in the greater Houston area. As an award winning developer and established leader in his field, Nino independently founded Compass Land Development in 2002. His knowledge, integrity, and complete commitment to expanding the horizons of Houston lend greatly to his widespread success.
